Drawings for Winners

Hello blog readers,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted last. I’ve been doing a lot of things, including drawing. I made drawings for the winners of a mini-contest in my last post. The winners were those who correctly answered my question of what movie was filmed at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachucets. Three lovely ladies knew it was the Social Network, and so they got drawings of whatever they wanted.

The first to respond was Rita of Chestertown who wanted a drawing of meerkats who are birdwatching. Thank you for the imaginative request!

Winner number two was Jenifer. Her dog, a black poodle, is friends with Iggy (Matthew and Robbi’s dog), so she wanted a drawing of the two pals hanging out in front of Evergrain.

The third and final winner, Liz, requested a drawing of her husband, who, she told me, she thinks is very cute. Her husband is owner of Play It Again Sam’s, so I went over there and snapped a shot of him for reference, telling him that he would find out in good time what the photo snapping was all about.

It’s fun to see what people request when you tell them that you will draw anything they want. Thanks for your requests, and I hope the drawings are to your liking. Or you can just use them to wipe up that tomato sauce you spilled and the drawing will look better after that.

    Hi Tilly,
I just sent you an email to thank you so much for the incredible drawing, but I forgot to mention that I love the fact that the birds look (to me) like baby “Big Birds” from Sesame Street. Just wondering if that was your inspiration, or was it just coincidence?
    Thanks again!
    Rita

    Hi Rita,
I did not intentionally make them look like Big Bird, it just happened that way. I thought they sort of looked like chickens, but they also look giant. They are fantastical whatever they are.

IMPORTANT! To be able to proceed, you need to solve the following simple math problem (even Robbi can do it!) so we know that you are a human. You are human, right?
