As you might have heard, we’ve started an every-other-weekly writing prompt on the Bobbledy Blog. Robbi does a painting and we post it as a prompt for kids to write a story about. Here’s the latest.
A kid named Joe named this illustration Just One Ride. And here is the story he wrote about it:
Red Robin bird says to Dino: ”Hey, can you give me a ride? I want to go home.”
Dino says: ”You have wings, why don’t you fly home on your own?”
Red Robin didn’t say anything.
Dino says: “… Ok. You are so tiny, you are not even heavy.”
When they finally get to Red Robin’s home…
Guess what? Red Robin just flew away.
Without asking Dino in for tea or snack.
Without saying thank you.
Not even a wave good-bye.

If you’d like to see this illustration hanging on your wall, the original is currently up for auction on Ebay. Bidding ends next Monday at 12:30EST.

I’m going to bid the crap out of this. Look out.
Don: As usual, you are barred from bidding. It will be a liberating day when you realize that this will always be the case.
