Here is a bone for those of you who only visit this blog to see pictures of babies: our newly arrived nephew Raiden, beholding the world with surprising alertness.
Robbi and I find ourselves in the uncomfortable position of needing to post photos of other people’s babies in order to hold your attention. Our personal stock is running out. Alden long ago lost her baby cuteness and is firmly entrenched in the land of “little girl.” For his part, Kato is taking more and more steps each day. Yesterday, he strung together ten or so. He is dangerously close to qualifying as a “toddler,” at which point, we can only assume, your interest will wane and our traffic will plunge.
What will we do? How will we please you without babies to pose and photograph at whim?
Perhaps we’ll have to have another?
The things one does to maintain a blog…

Another? That is a bold statement for a blog. Don’t tease us with baby dreaming. We could all end up drinking the kool-aid then and you’ll have plenty of babies to post on your blog :)
Veronica: It wasn’t a statement; it was a question. Notice the question mark?
Matthew
i await pictures of Raiden when he manifests his god-like powers of shooting lightning out of his hands and the ability to fly…those are the kinds of photos that generate traffic to a blog my friend
Does your question imply that Robbie might be preggers????
Oh, and I have a baby you can borrow whenever you like, just say the word. He’s pretty cute too.
Let it be known that Matthew bandies about the idea of another baby at least 17 times a day. But then, he also bandies about the idea of no more babies ever, and maybe giving the two we already have away at least 243 times a day. So you all just caught him at the right moment. Translation: NOT PREGGERS.
To follow up on Robbi’s comment, I would add, “…so far as we know…”
Sweet.
Love that look they have when first ogling the world. Like they’ve just landed from another planet.
Clare: I would argue that the place they’ve just come from is even stranger than outer space.
