Here’s my little girl, suddenly looking much older than I remember her.
Perhaps its the gauzy light, the red dress, the impish expression.
So coy, this one. Getting ready to put me through paces in her adolescent years.
She refuses to let us tame her wild hair with rubber bands or barrettes, and for that, I love her all the more.
It occurs to me that soon she will be five, which means that time is passing more quickly than I can stand. Thank goodness for these photos. My own memory is so unreliable.
Note: The photo(s) in this post were taken by photographer/blogger/developer/promoter of clean code Jiho Sohn. I encourage you to check out his site. Furthermore, Robbi, Matthew, Alden, Kato, August, and Iggy are currently on the Alaskan tundra, fishing commercially for sockeye salmon and trying to avoid stray bears. They will return on July 17, at which point real-time blogging will resume.
