Our bags are packed. It’s time to go.
This morning we’re flying to Nashville. This afternoon we’ll be guest teaching a class called Creative Lives at Vanderbilt. Tomorrow morning we fly to Kansas City. Tomorrow afternoon we’ll be driving to Tulsa. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I’ll be floating on a cloud of basketball-induced bliss, seeing six games live and countless more on television between greasy meals and short, unsatisfying naps. Monday we drive back to Kansas City. And Tuesday night we fly back home.
This is to let you know that we will not be at our desks for a week or so. But rest assured that the Affirmations will continue in our absence.

Surely if you are traveling with children, you’re taking more bags than that??
If that’s really all your luggage, I could sorely use some of your tips for travel with small children.
I could use your travel tips just for me!
And, anyway, hurry back. It’s always lonely here without you.
