We’re here. It has been beautiful. Swimming. Hiking. Sleeping in. Eating enchiladas. For the most part, we’ve been too busy to take pictures, but we could not help document the zucchini festival we passed on the way up.
And we stopped at Saratoga to give Kato a chance to try on his budding jockey career.
I put $5 on him to win, but he did not even place. He was not even close.
Yesterday, we went to Bolton Landing for ice cream and the kids sat in a really big chair.
There are moments of levity and intrigue. But mostly we’re here for the lake.
It’s blue and clear and ringed by mountains, a very nice place to pass a stretch of days.
