We got a text from a friend saying that Matthew had finally hit the big time. That he was, in fact, featured on the September 20th edition of The Colbert Report. Very exciting and awesome. I happen to love The Colbert Report, and stockpile episodes to watch online while I am drawing. I couldn’t believe I had missed it.

Of course, by “featured” I mean his name went scrolling across the bottom of the screen in under 5 seconds.

Colbert has been scrolling names of people who have donated to his SuperPac. I happen to know that Matthew did not, in fact, donate to the Colbert SuperPac. He is not one to open his wallet in the name of foolish shenanigans. So the truth is, this isn’t even our Matthew Swanson. But, really, nobody KNOWS that. So, I’m going to go on letting you all think that Matthew’s been mentioned on Colbert.

That being said, I am one to open my wallet (or Matthew’s) in the name of foolish shenanigans. I did donate to the Colbert SuperPac. So keep your eye out for my name. And if you see it, you can be sure it’s mine, because the only other Robbi Behr in the world is Canadian. And we know that Canadians are a sensible people. Who shouldn’t be donating their money to any SuperPacs.
