For reasons that should be evident, this week’s Bobbledy theme is groundhogs. Robbi has written a lively post, should you care to learn more about our burrowing rodent friends.
But if you are the type that prefers to look at groundhogs than to read insightful trivia about them, here you go. As she is prone to do, Robbi dug into the dark, strange chamber behind her left ventricle and pulled out Whistling Phil Lincoln.
I’m tempted to explain him with a story, but for now, I prefer to let Phil’s glorious mystery permeate untethered by any sort of anchoring narrative.
If you want him (and you know you do), he can be yours for mere pennies at this point. Bid now while the asking is low. But I suspect that his popularity will grow and his price will rise as 12:30 Sunday afternoon approaches. Which is to say, don’t sleep on this fellow. I don’t think you can trust him any further than you could throw him. Which might be a not insignificant distance, come to think of it.
