In addition to our posed publicity shots, we decided to have Jiho get some shots of us discussing ideas, working together on books, that sort of thing.
It quickly devolved into more posed shots.
You know, shots that make it look like we like each other.
And slightly off-center shots that make us look like we like each other.
And slightly off-center shots that make it look like we like each other, but not quite enough to put our arms around one another.
And then some completely honest shots that show exactly what it looks like when we “collaborate” on books.
The truth must be told. And who better to tell it than Jiho?
I begged Jiho not to take the “after” shot: me with my black eye, curled on the floor while Robbi stands over me with triumph in her eyes.
Note: The photo(s) in this post were taken by photographer/blogger/developer/promoter of clean code Jiho Sohn. I encourage you to check out his site. Furthermore, Robbi, Matthew, Alden, Kato, August, and Iggy are currently on the Alaskan tundra, fishing commercially for sockeye salmon and trying to avoid stray bears. They will return on July 17, at which point real-time blogging will resume.
