In response to Emily’s reading of Babies Ruin Everything, I thought I’d try to get our local critic to offer either a different interpretation or perhaps even a more in-depth read.
And this is what happened:
I guess this would qualify as a thumbs down. In 30 years, she’ll be working for the New York Times Book Review.
And this was NOT rehearsed? What a stunning condemnation.
What a riot!
Oh my. I would have thought it was just general contrariness, except that she was so pleasant once you dropped the subject of the book.
I thought this video was cute, but Calli REALLY liked it and watched it 5 or 6 times. I used it to distract her while I got her dressed this morning.
