Not often in life does one get the opportunity to own an illustration of a donkey doing the splits. So far in my life, I’ve been to Japan twice, but have only had the chance to bid on an illustration of a donkey doing the splits once. And that time is today. This morning. Right now. Look at that smile! Look at that posture! He is brimming with confidence and self-worth! Do not look at his teeth. It is obvious that he seldom receives proper dental care, but isn’t it telling that his happiness is so abundant in spite of the many cavities that must plague him? Couldn’t we all learn something from this cheerful donkey? Don’t we all admire him?
