We often end the day with a walk down to the water. To visit the ducks, to look at the sky. We go so often, in fact, that I sometimes forget what a beautiful place this is. But photos like this make it hard to ignore the fact that Chestertown is special.

I’m still a New England boy at heart. Give me those old, broken mountains and those thick green forests.

But I have to admit, there’s something about the water.

There’s a new home rising in me.
