Still in search of the perfect family portrait, we tried the couch. Alden and Kato were game, but August was having none of it.

I’m not sure what happened (perhaps he passed some gas), but eventually the baby came to see the wisdom of the party line.

It’s not quite Christmas card worthy, but at least no one is crying.
