Now that August is two, he is eligible for the finer things in life, such as education. At home, we provide nothing but macaroni, a dog bed for sleeping on, and occasional hugs. At Friendship Montessori, he might actually learn a thing or two.

Lunchbox in hand and dressed for success, he descended upon the pre-primary classroom, ready for anything. Or at least, ready for lunch.

Here they are, my three school kids. It seems impossible that this is already happening, and yet I count three bodies, lunch boxes, three eager smiles.

I’m so grateful to FMS for giving my kids such a good first experience at school. They love going, they hate to leave when I come to pick them up again. I feel good knowing they spend their days with such loving teachers, doing such fun-yet-constructive activities, and having such a good time. To them school= fun. What better equation for the start of this long adventure?

Welcome to school, my littlest scholar. May you learn and grow.
