I often feel like this.
How many of you out there know these two people? This is totally my mom and dad. I once spent twenty minutes on the phone with mom trying to explain to her how to turn the computer on. You have no idea how hard it is to explain where the power switch on an iMac is.

I’m laughing because I too, have spent hours trying to talk my mom through computer stuff…….like when I said, “mom, look on your desktop for that picture of your document”, and mom saying, “wait a minute, I have to go upstairs”, “why?”, says I, “Because that’s where my desk is.”………..
Priceless. R, you make me laugh and cry at the same time.
That’s a good one. My favorite was when my mom complained about her computer running slowly and I suggested that she might have too many windows open. “But I don’t have any windows open,” she insisted, “the air conditioner is on.” Never mind, Mom, never mind.
They are darling, those two. At least they’re trying.
My son just had a birthday. I gave him a card that showed a split screen of a conversation between “Technical Support” and Old Guy.
T.S. asks O.G. if he has backed up his hard drive.
O.G., on his hands and knees under his desk, reports that yes, it’s all the way up against the wall.
I don’t think my husband and I are that bad, but there was enough truth in it that my son actually thought it was funny.
