Yes, we are in Alaska, and will be for another 10 days or so. If you have been following along as we’ve been sharing posts from summers past, you may be missing the kids, who are yet to make much of an appearance. Here is a post from the summer of 2011, when Alden was three and Kato was one-and-a-half. Our favorite pastime that summer was throwing stones. And why not? They are in ample supply, and the river is right there, just begging for the opportunity to make a pleasing splash.
