In preparation for the visit from Jiho and his various cameras for our photo shoot this past weekend, there were a few imperatives we needed to address. Well, really, only two. 1: clean up the house. 2: get a haircut, hippie!
My go-to hair guy is Brian from Studio B. He used to work in Chestertown but moved to Sudlersville a couple years ago. It’s a 12-minute drive but well worth it. If you are anywhere near Sudlersville and in need of a haircut, he’s the man.
I had made the mistake of cutting my own bangs a few months back, and though it kept my hair out of my eyes (mission accomplished!) it also looked like I had gone at it with garden shears (close…). I’ve been rockin’ the pigtails for a while now.
That photo doesn’t actually capture the true nestiness of my head. At any rate, a half hour with Brian and voila! I even look less tired!
Thanks Brian!
And thanks Jiho, for giving me an excuse to get a fab cut!

I, too, go to Brian as my savior when I am really desperate (the drive to Sudlersville seems daunting at times when I rarely emerge from my Acme-SkySchool-Home triangle. After cutting my own bangs last year, in a fit of pauperly desperation, my son Sky said, “Mom!! Haven’t you learned from your past yet?” I went tail between my legs to Brian for Hair Rehab and also much needed Brian Therapy. He always makes me feel and look better. Thanks, Robbi.
It looks great, as do you! I am always amazed at how transformative a simple haircut can be. Less gray, more energetic. A little spooky!
You look beautiful, Robbi!
I go to Brian too. He is a master of all things hair and a truly insightful person.
He’s an artist and a very dear man.
Faith, I love Sky’s comment.
