Hello people of Washington, DC, Baltimore, Columbia, and environs. This is to say that Robbi and I will be guests at this year’s National Press Club Book Fair and Author’s Night, which is happening next Tuesday evening, November 19, at…The National Press Club in DC.
We’re assuming that this elegant logo will appear on just about everything.
The event runs from 5:30-8:30 pm, costs $10, and features more than 95 authors, including Alice McDermott, Mark Leibovich, and Representative John Lewis (the only person still living who spoke at the 1963 March on Washington, and who recently wrote a graphic novel about the Civil Rights movement). There will also be a raffle with all sorts of fabulous prizes.
Plus, we’ll be there. Smiling and such. While selling and signing copies of Ten Thousand Stories to meet the holiday shopping needs of the metropolitan Washington region.
