We are less than an hour from departure for the National Press Club Book Fair and Author’s Night, where we will be joined by 100 or so other authors whose books have been published in the last year or so. We will attempt to comport ourselves with dignity while also trying desperately to capture the attention of the good folks from CSPAN, who will be there looking for eye candy.
Robbi has offered/threatened to bare her chest, but I’m hoping it won’t come to that. I’m guessing the National Press Club has rules, and we wouldn’t want to get thrown out of our first ever author’s event. Or maybe we would. Maybe that’s precisely the sort of thing that CSPAN is looking for.
