On Monday, an interview with Robbi and me was published in an online literary journal called Spry.
The interview is notable for the enthusiastic kindness of its introduction and for the surprising feistiness of Robbi’s language. Which is to say, don’t let your six year old read this interview unless your six year old is a pirate. Put a microphone in front of the girl and she tends to get carried away.
I like this piece. It contains some nice ideas and captures a spirit that feels pretty well aligned with who we are and what we do. If you’ve been curious about these things, perhaps you’d enjoy having a read.
Thanks, Zac, for taking the time to talk with us, and thanks Spry for being interested in what we have to say.

Damn straight, motherfucker.
You are so welcome! Thank YOU! I actually wish there was more swearing. Ah, next time.
Thank you both so much for allowing us (aka Zac) to interview you. We loved it (and the swearing, as we are part-pirate at Spry). Looking forward to keeping up with you in the future. Yahoo to you!
Erin, Zac,
It was our pleasure (and honor) to be included. I’m guessing Robbi must have intuited your pirate tendencies, because she’s usually a bit more reserved in her choice of enthusiastic utterances.
But we love how the interview turned out. Which is a credit to you guys.
Best of luck,
Matthew
