This morning, while we were busy trimming Volume 29, Alden was doing some installation art.
Alden: “Look. I made sunshine!”
If only it were so easy in real life. Art, what a pale, pale imitation you are. (Ironically, this is precisely what Volume 29: Homer Was an Epic Poet is all about).
On the flip side, look what a little art can make real life do:
This is art, of course, in only the loosest, most least-common-denominator sense. Fly, Alden, fly! Fly in your fake art world! — just not too close to the fake art sunshine. Which, it turns out, can at worst only give you a paper cut.
