It rained all day yesterday. There are no good stories or photos to post from the Lake. And so I’ll share an episode from a week or so ago. In anticipation of a client meeting, I was compelled to shave. Kato noticed that something masculine was going on and demanded to participate.
I scooped him up and explained the fundamentals.
Once we had covered shaving technique and philosophy, we reviewed the blade mechanics.
In spite of my comprehensive, incisive tutorial, the little fellow seemed lost.
And so I helped him out.
The hands-on demonstration seemed to solidify his understanding, and before long, he was on top of his game. We shaved together, man and boy, father and son.
I was particularly impressed with his advanced blade rinsing technique.
Not bad for such a little shaver.
