For the most part, Alden and I get along well. But sometimes, we have our differences, and when we do, we are not shy about expressing our displeasure.
It’s hard to stay mad for long, however.
I’m a sucker for pigtails, and Alden has a soft spot for funny-looking guys in need of a shave.

So, so, lovely.
These pix, more than any I have seen, show that Alden has morphed into a little girl. I think I even see dimples.
What is she holding? And is it responsible for the green all over her hands and sleeves? Methinks, future (messy) artist, for sure.
Have I told you lately how happy your blog and website and books and pictures make me? If I am ever in your part of the world (or if you are ever just milling about in my neck of the woods in Northeastern Mexico?) I hope that we can get together and catch up. It’s been more than 20 years since we shared a wine cooler in the football stadium (such badasses were we)… and then shortly thereafter I began behaving like an idiot (or rather, I fell for an idiot, and began behaving more like him)… and lost track of you. It is interesting to see how different yet similar our lives have become. If you had been in my class, I might actually consider attending a high school reunion. :) Keep writing – it often makes my day!
