Deciding that 24 hours was just too long to spend together in one place, Robbi and I are heading to NYC this weekend to man the Idiots’Books table the 2011 Museum of Comic and Cartoon Arts Festival.

The show, featuring the best of the independent comics and small press world, will take place Saturday April 9th and Sunday April 10th from 11am-6pm. It is held at the Lexington Avenue Armory, at 68 Lexington Ave (Between 25th & 26th Streets) in Manhattan.

If you like comics or graphic novels or zines or clever t-shirts, or just want to get a whiff of a unique and wonderful corner of the publishing universe, it’s definitely worth the $10 admission fee.

Note, however, if you are coming to view our children, they will not be in attendance. The ability to walk is official grounds for disqualification as far as we’re concerned, so Kato will be joining his sister on the couch this weekend, watching Kipper on endless repeat. And please don’t worry about their well-being. We’re also going to leave a crate of Ramen and a case of Coke.

Please stop by and see us at the show. We’d love to see you.
