Just for kicks, we’ve decided to take a different approach to the auction this time around. Starting yesterday and ending Friday, you’ll have a chance to bid for the opportunity to tell Robbi what you want her to draw. She will do her very best to draw anything the winner asks her to, even if said scenario involves otters or clog dancers or a junior varsity fencing squad. The goal here is not necessarily to set the stage for a rousing game of Stump the Robbler. Rather, we’re hoping that this will be a nice opportunity for one of you to get a piece of customized art—for yourself or as the perfect gift for that special someone in your life. I’m talking about your grandmother. This is your chance to have her depicted running freely with the wildebeests of the Serengeti. Does your grandma run freely? Are there wildebeests in the Serengeti? I just looked it up. Turns out there are. Turns out the Serengeti wildebeest is the largest migrating mammal in the world.
