As the Idiocy continues, we have had more and more opportunities to get out of the barn and talk to people about what we do. From our very first public reading at Bookplate in December of 2006 (9 people were there)…
…to our presentation at ICON this past June (lots of people were there)…
…it has been a fun ride, and we’ve been doing all we can to let people know we’re eager for more.
Perhaps we should not have been quite so eager.
The fall lineup, now complete, includes the following venues:
Drake University – September 24-25 – lecture, workshops, dinner with students, and class visit (Sept 25 lecture open to the public)
Washington College – October 2 – lecture
Maryland Institute College of Art – October 7-8 – lecture, workshops, student critiques
The New School/Parsons – October 23 – lecture
Fordham University – October 24 – lecture and reading – (open to the public)
New York University/Tisch School of the Arts – October 26 – lecture
Rhode Island School of Design – October 27 – lecture as part of their yearly Entrepreneur Mindshare
Which is to say, we’re glad we got a new car. Somewhere in the midst of all this, we’ll be launching Bobbledy Books, making Halloween costumes, and doing our best to keep our heads on straight.
If anyone happens to see the children wandering around outside the barn untended the week of October 22-27, please usher them inside and assure them that we’ll be home eventually.

You’ll be at Drake and Fordham on the same day? Not a chance you keep your head on straight if you try to pull that off!
