We’re still in Miami, though we’ll be heading north again tomorrow. Tonight I will play blues harmonica in an improvisational 80s band. Rest assured that no clips of the performance will appear on these pages.
We’ve been too busy these past few days to take any pictures, so I’ll look back a few days to our first full day on Long Island. The storm was past, but it left behind ample evidence. We decided to head out and see what we could find.
Alden seems to have inherited Robbi’s boldness. Every step is an adventure.
She comments on the world in tall letters.
Iggy, on the other hand, is usually a bit more cautious. But something about the snow removes all inhibitions (and strangely, makes her ears stand straight up).
Perhaps she is inspired by her jaunty pink and purple sweater?
Happy last day of the year, everyone. We’ll be back to more regular posts in a few days once we’re back to the barn. Remember to work on those resolutions. The opportunity for personal improvement comes but once a year.

Happy Nw Year, and safe home.
Iggy is too chic in her lovely sweater. Remy is tres envious.
Happy New Year to you all, and love.
