This morning we head north—to William Paterson University, where we will be doing grad student critiques and a presentation to a larger group of students. We have nothing to show by way of flashy visuals of the event since it hasn’t happened yet. And so I will share the bounty from my inbox this morning:
August was particularly uninterested in falling asleep last night, and so Robbi had some time to sketch. I like this guy, though, with all those arms, you think he’d be having a bit less trouble.

But maybe, you know, maybe the right arm doesn’t know what the left is doing or something like that.
What a wonderful creature!
I was one of the students who attended your presentation at William Paterson University. I want to thank you for coming, I really enjoyed your presentation and found your story inspiring.
Amanda – thanks so much for showing up! We had such a nice time visiting (you were part of a banner crowd, so – many thanks). It’s nice to leave our little barn cocoon every now and then and see that there are people out there creating and doing. Hope to see you again, somewhere (MoCCA, this weekend?). :)
Hey Amanda,
You’re so kind to write. It’s nice for us to hear when people connect with what we’re doing. Please keep in touch. And keep making stuff, if that’s what you’re into.
And yes, echoing Robbi, stop by and see us at MoCCA if you can make it.
Matthew
