Yesterday I went to our local discount store Roses (see “Kathy”‘s review and you get a good idea of what most of the population (other than old “5-stars-NewHope” and “The One”) think of the place) to buy some underwear for Alden. She’s recently started ye olde potty training, and what can I say… when you’re potty training, undies are really just a formality. A formality that you shouldn’t have to pay more than a dollar for.
Anyway. While checking out undies, I found a shirt that didn’t look too bad, except for being made out of plastic (60% polyester, 40% rayon). I looked at the price tag, and was shocked.
Not only was it “Gypsy,” my favorite color, but it was a $78 item. Right here in Roses! This place is starting to get fancy, I thought to myself.
Oh, wait.
That’s more like it. Things are still right in Chestertown.

Wow, congrats on the potty training. What color is “gypsy,” anyway?
Apparently “gypsy” = “purple”.
I’d hate to think of what other ethnicities suffer in this clothing line.
