Sometimes you really can judge a post by its cover. That’s the news, plain and simple. Check back at lunchtime to read the second part of Joshua Wolf Shenk’s examination of the Idiots, this section focused on the barn. (EDIT: It’s here! HERE!) Apparently, it’s an even more important aspect of our collaboration than we ever realized. Fascinating stuff. I learned several new things about myself by reading it (some of them not exactly flattering).
While we’re here together, I’ll take a moment to share the latest auction. It has been a few weeks since Robbi has felt compelled to put pen to paper. But the other morning she woke up full of vim and declared that she was going to draw a portrait of me. Here’s what she came up with.
The current high bid is from my mother, who has generously committed a single penny toward the cause of purchasing my likeness. For the sake of my honor (if not my pride), can someone make it two?
