This week’s drawing prompt over on Bobbledy Books (have a visit to see the kids’ drawings) was inspired by Robbi’s drawing of Iggy.

I wish I could say the drawing was some crude contortion of reality, but alas, this is what Iggy looks like approximately 2/3 of the time. Perhaps if we would be more dutiful in responding to her obvious cry for help, she would be more quickly restored to dignity. Alas, neither one of us is disposed to spend our lives rubbing the belly of a dog. And hence Iggy’s life of splayed legs and lolling tongue.
