Hi everyone. We have just added some colorful buttons at the end of each post to make it easier for you to whore us out to your social media minions. Please appreciate their shiny web 2.0-ness. (Are we past web 2.0 already?):
Ha ha to those of you who tried to click on those buttons. The real ones are located at the end of the post, for those of you who weren’t paying attention at sentence two. You can now repost a post to Facebook, tweet a post, follow the comments on just a post, or email a link to a post, right from the icons below. Please let me know if there are any super savvy people out there who want a reddit or a tumblr or a stumbleupon or some other hootenanny button that I don’t understand on there, and I’ll add it in. Except for mySpace, of course. Even I know that’s for troglodytes.
We resisted adding “Like” and “Number of Retweets” buttons, for fear that our frail egos would suffer, post after post after post. This way, we look like we’re buying into the whole social media thing without having to suffer the sad reality of quantification. We assure ourselves that we value quality over quantity.
And for those of you only here to look at pictures of my beautiful family, here’s this pretty little gem to stew on:

2.0 has indeed passed, but I find them to be an appropriate amount of shiny. Perhaps their success will bring 2.0 back.
So are we at 3.0, or are we more at like 2.1, or are we in some sort of hazy beta?
Well, I HEART that pretty little gem of a family pic, Robbi!
Honestly, Robbi…you look beautiful in that photo. Fierce…but gorgeous. Looks like you just picked your head up from the pillow and are contemplating yet another day of babies in need of you. ;-)
The people want a Tumblr button!
StumbleUpon please :)
Sabby and Ming – Done and done! Thanks for caring! Or, if you don’t actually care, thanks for making me think you do!
Clare – are you high? No, seriously, like right now? Just checking. And yes, that was EXACTLY what was happening when Matthew snapped the photo.
