Alden wanted to paint. Of course, she needed a paintbrush. The problem was, I couldn’t find it. I looked in all of the obvious spots and then in some of the less obvious ones. The paintbrush was nowhere to be found.
I was ready to give up when Alden offered the following perspective, “Maybe it’s somewhere, Papa.”
I simply couldn’t refute the premise.
And as it turns out, she was right.
