Once again, Robbi has produced an illustration so lovely and compelling that I bristle at the thought of parting with it. And yet, here it is, this week’s auction item. I cannot convince her to post some other image in its place.
This illustration makes me think of the things we think about but do not say, the things we feel but do not express. It also makes me think about all the miles of rocks and dirt and train tracks beneath our feet, which I find interesting but also a little bit unnerving.

Wonder-ful.
When I first clicked on the site, I just saw the top part, and thought it was going to be a sandwich. And, it is…kind of.

Nice drawing. Has a lovely loose feel.
Lovely imagery… a balance of both simplicity and complexity
