You probably know, but in case you don’t, we now have two blogs, one for each press. One well-established, the other shiny and new. Getting to know a new blog is kind of like breaking in a pair of shoes. We’ve been having fun figuring out what the Bobbledy Blog is all about, and though it is still in a state of evolution, one thing is clear: each Friday, we post a drawing prompt, and each Tuesday, we share the paintings and drawings kids send us. This week’s prompt was:
If you were a superhero, what would your name be? And what would your power be? And what would you look like?
The kids’ responses were fantastic. Jump on over to the Bobbledy Blog if you want to see them all. My favorite is probably Super Spencer.

And then there’s the “Super Cool Party Dude,” drawn by our former student Mike Komar (yes, you should check out his site.)
Super Cool Party Dude proves two things:
1) when your arms shoot lightning, even flip flops can seem threatening
2) you don’t have to be an actual kid to draw stuff for the Bobbledy drawing prompt
