More reader-submitted content to share with you. This, from our friend and subscriber Marigold, mother of Huck:

We just visited our local hole-in-the-wall bookstore and I found the mix-and-match super hero book you guys did! But I was like, “Hmm. This don’t seem right.” And it WASN’T right! It was a Marvel Heroes Mix & Match book! I immediately summoned my Super Strength and ripped it and every copy of it to absolute shreds while screaming obscenities.

But then we found your REAL book and I cooled down.

And then we found a Spongebob Mix & Match book, and that made me super happy. And then the authorities showed up, so we had to get out of there.

P.S. I told Huck to hold the Marvel book and make a face like it smelled really bad.

And there you have it. Our book makes real-live children smile, even if only because their mothers make them.

In case you have been waiting to place your order until we cracked Amazon’s Top-100,000 ranking, we seem to have done it!

What’s more, in the expansive category of children’s books about superheroes, we have soared to 59th place!

Thanks, Marigold! Thanks, Huck! Keep up the smear campaign if you would.

NOTE: And speaking of the competition, Marigold’s blog, Hideous! Dreadful! Stinky! offers a delightful mix of family, creativity, and humor. We openly resent her for being so family-oriented, creative, and funny. And yet we feel obligated to give her some ink.
