I am not a complicated person. But I wouldn’t call myself simple-minded, either. And yet yesterday, in a short break from my maddening travails of overhauling our Idiots’Books store (soon to be released) (I frickin’ hope so, anyway), I found myself on the home page of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which apparently is an ad agency that everyone should have heard of. Anyway, their landing page has this beautiful interactive graphic on it:

If you click on it, you can swirl yourself around to different cities while admiring emerging pools of color and it is just – so – beautiful. I pretty much sat there for a half hour clicking my mouse and drooling a little out of the side of my mouth. I’m not sure if that was due to great design or to the state of my mind after wading through shopping cart code, but I was fairly mesmerized.

CLICK HERE to check it out in person. And make sure you click on a city so you can watch the little sheep at the bottom of the page do his jaunty little walk. I could stare at him for hours. Of course, there’s a whole lot of good content to look at too.

But the sheep. The sheep is way awesome.
