Don’t need much preamble here. The little man is learning how to smile.
It’s probably not nearly as interesting to you as it is to me, but I’m rendered helpless when he does it.
It’s incredible how a smile transforms a face, suggesting a degree of engagement of the world that marks the page turn between hapless infant and real-live baby.
I already can’t remember (or imagine) my life without August. Without him, I’d probably be a lot more productive this morning.
