To look at this photo, you might think that Kato tied on a few too many at the corner pub.
Alas, the story is less sordid. Though lively when awake, and ever more prone to express his opinions and desires, being small and growing rapidly, Kato is prone to spontaneous fits of sleep.
Even in his wagon. Especially in his wagon. I take some comfort in knowing that our edition of the venerable Radio Flyer is made of plastic.
No babies were deprived of needed slumber in the making of this post.






Okay, I have to confess…I have looked at this precious, precious photo several times now. It just…well… it takes me back, bigtime. You will understand what I mean in about 20 years.
For one thing, see those dimples in his hand? Where the knuckles are supposed to be? Those disappear in a just a few years. Sigh…
