This rambling, slide-laden manifesto by writer Matthew Swanson and illustrator Robbi Behr (of the small presses Idiots’Books and Bobbledy Books) explores the definition of art, the benefits of risk, the power of self-promotion, the advantages of collaboration, the pleasures of artistic freedom, the realities of the commercial publishing world, the value of experience, the importance of saying yes, and the unquestionable merits of doggedness.
