As you may or may not know, every Wednesday we post a prompt over on the Bobbledy blog. Sometimes it’s a prompt to draw a picture and sometimes it’s a prompt to write a story. This week’s prompt is a request for stories of gratitude. As in, what are you thankful for as the holiday season rolls around again.
To be sure, Bobbledy Books is mostly for kids, and I can’t wait to hear kids say, in their own words, what they’re thankful for. But this particular prompt seems appropriate for people of all ages. So, if you’re willing, drop us a line and tell us what you’re thankful for today. It doesn’t have to be a “story,” exactly. It could be as simple as,
“My name is Matthew, and I am thankful for turkey.”
I need your responses by the end of the day tomorrow (Monday), as I’ll be posting responses on Tuesday.
Gratitude is one of the most powerful forces I’ve ever encountered. Share a little of yours, and get a whole lot back.
