The weekend before last, we were lucky to have a visit from our friend Ashley Weeks Cart, she who commissioned our Ephropology poster, she who curates family and creative life at Blogalacart, and she who takes gorgeous photos of just about everything.
We were even luckier that she happened to bring her camera along.

So many choices…
There’s really no bad options, as far as I’m concerned.

I expect your publicity shot has to just be the two of you, but by far my fave is the hug in the park. It’s got it all: unabashed Matt-Robbi full-frontal love, Iggy staring off into space looking for a clue, August’s dumped bike w/ him taking advantage of the benign neglect & parental PDA to peek into the fountain & calculate exactly how many pennies it’d take to buy a set of more normal parents, plus it’s literally in the heart of town, as figuratively are all of you.
You make a strong argument, Stu. Yes, I love that shot as well, and we will definitely find a place for it, perhaps on the new Robbi/Matthew website we’re cooking up. Probably not right for a book jacket, though. Unless they were willing to let us have the whole back cover for self aggrandizement…
Well, in that case, I guess the one of you eating her head. Zombies are in right now, & I imagine publishers like humping the hot trends.
They are ALL wonderful!!! Though I really like your favorite, Matt, I prefer to see the *mutual* love and admiration between you two.
