Why Do We Have Children?

There are so many compelling reasons not to have children. So why do so many of us do it?

The answer is simple. So that we can sit them on green plastic frogs and then jump over them.

If anyone has produced offspring for any other reason, I’d love to hear what it is.

    I agree with you, Matthew. There is absolutely no other reason to have them. I cannot think of one.

    The only other plausible reason to have children, at least that I know of, is to increase blog readership.

    I thought you had children so that they could help out around the house. I now know that they only make more of a mess for you to clean up. But they sure are entertaining. And fun to jump over!
