Working mostly from home, I don’t pay as much attention to my personal grooming as I might if I went into the office every day. My kids don’t seem to mind. People on the street are still willing to talk to me. And I thought that Robbi had my back. But yesterday, she gave me a funny look at the dinner table, paused for a minute, and said, “You look like a woman.”
I’d like to say it didn’t hurt, but that would not be true.
She went on to explain that the problem was my hair. It was puffy and such. First thing this morning, I drove to the barber shop. As I was sitting there, waiting for my turn, I took this shot.
And when I was done, I took another.
When I got home, Robbi gave me an approving nod. She did not go so far to say that I looked like a man, but I did not expect her to. It was just a haircut, after all.

at least it gave you an excuse to put on outside pants
Billy: Who said I did?
Let it be known that when I said he looked like a woman, his hair was curling down over his forehead, making him look like a frazzled Bea Arthur (who is kind of like a woman).
Robbi: Bea was wry, sarcastic, deadpan. I have it on good authority that she was never in her entire life frazzled.
I see some similarities between you and uncle Chris in the second picture as he now buzzes his hair and has a beard and mustache! Loving the family resemblance!
