Sometimes it can be maddening to want to do things right. We are counting down the minutes to our departure for destinations north but still needed to put together some signage for the Rhode Show Bazaar booksale event at ICON7*.

The Bazaar is happening the day before we actually give our talk, so it’s very likely that no one at the sale will have heard of us. We wanted to make a table sign to let people know we would be speaking, so Matthew put together some language and sent me the file yesterday to pretty up.

Well, four hours later and I’m finally done tinkering. Too bad the sale is only three and a half hours long. There must be some sort of input/output metric for that, but I don’t know what it is. So, to amortize my work time, I’m posting it here for the rest of eternity.

I’m not sure what the end goal for this project was (if it’s even measurable) but at least I’m getting better at this whole stacking-a-bunch-of-words-together-in-a-seemingly-haphazard-manner thing. A year or two ago this would have taken me days. Regrettably, in a few years when I can finally do it in my sleep, it will be so passé that I’ll have to learn how to do something else.

LOLcat memes, perhaps?
